Holocaust Memorial Day

For Holocaust Memorial Day, Mrs Richards led an assembly on the importance of not treating people differently because of what they believe or who they are, and that everyone has a role to play in building communities such as at school and where we live.   Using paper bricks, students wrote pledges of what they can do to build our communities. These bricks were then used to create a pictorial bridge showing that we can bring people together.  Students also lit candles to show how light and hope can be spread. Click for gallery…
