How to Apply

We welcome applications to join The Park School from any year group or at any time of the academic year subject to availability of places. Please make an initial enquiry with our Admissions Office. We recommend that you visit us, with or without your son or daughter in the first instance, when you can see our school in action on a real day and meet Jane Huntington, The Head.

A follow-up 'Taster Day' will then be recommended to give your son or daughter the chance to find out what a day feels like at The Park School and it gives teachers the opportunity to assess your child's strengths, interests and needs within the context of the peer group.

Pre-Prep School Entry (Reception, Year 1 & Year 2)

Children who have turned 4 on or before 31st August of the previous academic year are welcome to join our Reception class at the start of the autumn term or throughout the year.  “Taster mornings” can be arranged for your child to build confidence before they join us.  For children joining Year 1 or Year 2 a Taster Day will be arranged.

Prep & Senior School Entry (Prep Year 3 – 6 and Senior School Year 7 - 11)

As a non-selective school, The Park School invites prospective pupils, both day and boarding, to attend a Taster Day (and/or night) where they will join their current year group to meet their peers, experience lessons and extra-curricular activities. During the day a pupil will be informally assessed and this, together with their most recent school reports, will form the basis of our decision to offer a place.
