Junior girls- Felicity Squires and Jessica Houghton. Junior boy- Edward Butcher and Intermediate girls- Hannah Forrest and Lottie Scannell.
4th February
Lovely sunny conditions for this event- all four of our athletes had great runs assisting the Area team to some good results.

.Somerset U14 Cross Country Team Championships
Our team of Jessica Houghton, Felicity Squires, Abigail Squires, Freyia Crawford, Alice Barnett, Megan Brickley and Samantha Pratt endured the wet and muddy conditions at Taunton – all running superbly to finish 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th and 12th respectively to win easily the team race and become U14 Somerset County Team Champions.

ISA National Cross County Championships
Fabulous running weather – but terrible conditions underfoot with the entire course  knee deep in mud.  All our 17 runners found the conditions tough but performed extremely well.  Hannah Forrest finished 5th in the senior girls to be our top placed athlete leading the South West home.  In the U14 girls race Jessica Houghton had yet another fantastic run and improved to be the first South West athlete home.  For many of our runners this was their first experience of competition at National level and they all did us proud.
South West ISA Cross Country
Hannah Forrest romped to an emphatic victory securing the Over 16 race, making this her 4th consecutive South West title.  Lottie Scannell also had an impressive win of the U16 race. The u14 girls went one better and took the team title, at the end of the day 20 pupils had qualified for the National Finals.
