A LEVEL AND GCSE ART EXHIBITION

This week we had a private view for parents, friends and students of examination pieces and coursework.  There was a wide variety of different techniques and media evident in the exhibition, including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and textiles.  Many people attended, but if you missed the evening, the exhibition is on display in the reception area and in the Sixth Form Centre until the last week of term.  A sample of this high quality work may be seen on the website www.parkschool.com.  We are hopeful that reports will appear in the local press.  Mrs Briggs would like to congratulate all students involved for their hard work and commitment this year.

First rehearsal with band.  All cast.  All songs.

Thursday 19^th June 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Run through with band all songs, plus script.

Wednesday 25^th June 9.00 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Intensive rehearsal period begins.

Friday 4^th July 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

This will be a rehearsal day for all in Bugsy Malone.  All cast, band members and crew must be in school.

Saturday 5^th July 10.00 a.m. – 4 p.m.

PTA FAMILY FUN EVENING –

27^TH JUNE 2008

Our annual summer fundraising event is to take place on Friday 27^th June from 6.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m. on the Junior Site.  Tickets are now on sale £3 per adult and £1.50 per child.  This will include food and a drink.  Tickets are available from the Junior School office or Dan Winchilsea (Toby's and Sebastian's dad) in the Junior school playground. We have arranged for live music, BBQ, Bar, fun and games for all ages.  Please come and support what we are sure will be an excellent evening.

PHYSICS REVISION SESSION

There will be a final Physics revision session for all Year 11 on Monday 16^th June from 14.00 – 16.00 hrs in the Physics Laboratory.
