ADVICE TO PARENTS RE SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE Dorset Police would like to make parents aware of a number of suspicious incidents involving children recently. There have now been at least three incidents where children have been spoken to or offered sweets and on one occasion a lift home. The incidents have occurred in Gillingham, Holwell and Stalbridge and on at least two occasions a small red vehicle, possibly a Peugeot has been involved. It is important to stress that the incidents are over a five week period and no actual offences have been committed. The police do not wish to alarm parents but feel it is right to bring it to their attention.
