SUMMER UNIFORM – MAY 2010We are proposing and therefore giving notice, that as from May next year, we will revert to a summer uniform in the Senior Department of the school, whereby girls and boys wear ties throughout the year. We will though make a concession on days when the weather is quite hot and the pupils will be given an indication that they may therefore remove their ties. We feel that this system will work well. Girls and boys will therefore need to wear a short sleeve shirt suitable for wearing with a tie. The Juniors will have a sports type shirt which is being trialled this summer as an option. This is not intended for transfer across to the senior part of the school at this stage. If you have any questions around this, then please do make contact with me at the school. Mr P Bate, Headteacher
SUMMER BBQ FRIDAY 3RD JULY 6.00 P.M. This is a WHOLE school event. All pupils, family and friends are welcome. There will be a barbecue, pig roast, bar, fun and games. More details to follow soon. Please make a note in your diary and come along to a fun social event which will also support your PTA. Many thanks. Mrs Donna Williamson, PTA
DEADLINE FOR ART COURSEWORKThe deadline for art coursework will be Monday 18th May, as work will be put up on show later in the week.
