WORLD BOOK DAY 6TH MARCH 2008

The PTA are organising a "Dress Up as a Book Character" competition for World Book Day.  On this day, for a small donation, your child may come to school dressed as a book character.  During the day Mrs Scannell and Mrs Briggs will judge the competition, and a prize per year group will be awarded.

 

HALF TERM GRADES

Half-term grades are issued to Years 7 – 10 giving assessments for attainment and effort.  If parents have any concerns they should contact their son's/daughter's tutor in the first instance.  We hope you find this assessment information helpful

 

SPRING RAFFLE

Any donations for the spring raffle will be gratefully received, tickets to go on sale from the Junior Department immediately after half term.

 

SCHOLARSHIPS

We are pleased to be able to announce details of the scholarship awards made this year. Please see overleaf for a list of successful candidates.

SPORTS REPORT

We had 5 matches this week; reports can be found on the school website under "EVENTS".  Highlight of the week – under 12 hockey v. Buckler's Mead 1-0 for The Park.

 

Fixtures for the week after half term are:-

Mon 25th - u15 Football

Tues 26th - u12 & 13 Cross-country

Weds 27th  - u9, u11, u14, & u16 Netball

Thurs 28th - u14, u16 Netball & u13 Football

Fri 29th – National ISA Cross-country

Sat 1st March  – u10 & u11 Netball
