PTA QUIZ

Many thanks to all who attended and made the evening a resounding success.  Special thanks to Mr Stevens and family for all their hard work.  The winning teams were:-

WORLD BOOK DAY 6^TH MARCH 2008

The PTA are organising a "Dress Up as a Book Character" competition for World Book Day.  On this day, for a small donation, your child may come to school dressed as a book character.  During the day Mrs Scannell and Mrs Briggs will judge the competition, and a prize per year group will be awarded.

VALENTINES DAY

Young Enterprise Group will be selling beautiful long stemmed red roses for you to send to your loved one.  If you would like to purchase one, please see Mrs Scannell or a pupil from 10S, who will pass the message on.

REMEMBRANCE CONCERT

On 12^th February at 6.30 p.m. in the School Hall, we will be remembering Stuart McInnes with a concert of music, poetry, singing and dancing; all the things he liked best.  Many children are already taking part, but if you are interested please, see Mrs Scannell or Mr Gentis.  Everyone is most welcome to attend.

Our next Open Day is on Tuesday 12^th February.  The Headmaster will be giving a talk at 10.30 a.m. and again at 2.30 p.m. Please let your friends know about this day.

SPRING RAFFLE

Any donations for the spring raffle will be gratefully received, tickets to go on sale from the Junior Department immediately after half term.
