FINAL AMOUNTS RAISEDThe Xmas Fayre raised profits of £766.88. Breakfast with Santa raised profits of £186.92. SPRING RAFFLEThis will take place on Wednesday 28th March. The PTA would be very grateful for any donations to the Spring Raffle to be delivered to either the Senior or Junior Office.
MUFTI DAYThis date is to be confirmed, but the event will take place before half term – the theme for juniors will be characters from books.
URGENT REQUESTPlease can everyone remember their final instalment for the London Theatre trip.
NESTLE BOOK TOKENS We are still collecting book tokens until the end of March from Nestle, which will enable us to obtain free books from Dorling Kindersley. Please place your tokens in the boxes in the Junior Department.

PUBLIC SPEAKING On Tuesday the 23rd January 6 members of The Park School took part in the senior public speaking competition for the Rotary Club at Westfield Community School. We were fortunate to be placed 1st and 2nd. The pupils had to talk about 'The Torture of Public Speaking'. The team that came first were:- Shona Newton – Chairman Hannah Edwards – Speaker Rachel Saywell – Vote of Thanks
The team that came second had to talk about 'Fame and Its Pitfalls'. The team were:- Emily Rowsell – Chairman Samya Harris – Speaker Jessica Gifford – Vote of Thanks.
Congratulations to both teams and good luck in the next round to be held at Beaminster School on the 13th February.
