HOSTING FOR GERMAN EXCHANGE STUDENTS A party from The Park School has just returned from a very successful and enjoyable trip to our partner school, the Gesamtschute Obere Aar in Yeovil's twin town of Taunusstein in Germany. We enjoyed wonderful hospitality, excellent food and the opportunity to see much of the country throughout the week long programme, well prepared by our hosts. Plans are now being drawn up for the return visit of the Taunusstein party to Yeovil from 19th – 26th March 2007. As our partner school is much larger than The Park, there are invariably more German pupils who wish to participate on the exchange than there are places available. It has been customary to ask if parents are willing to host a German boy or a girl for a week. My German colleagues and I would be most grateful if parents would consider hosting in March, and we do aim to enable as many pupils to take advantage of the exchange experience as possible. Further details, including a reply slip, are included in a letter that is being distributed to all pupils studying German. If there are any further queries, please contact me at school. Mr. Winter
