Year 3&4 Football Tuesday 6th February
6th February 2007The year 3&4 boys played at home against Sunninghill Prep School on a rather chilly afternoon. From the outset this was an exciting game with end to end action. Both goal keepers were kept rather busy and at half time had played extremely well to maintain clean sheets. Into the 3rd quarter and Declan Kinsella found space in the area and slipped the ball into the corner of our visitors goal. As the final period started Sunninghill threw everthing at us and were rewarded with a corner, which they converted to level at 1-1. Park tried desperately to find a winner and Jonathan Burrows struck powerfully on target, but somehow the keeper kept it out. In the end a fitting draw resulted. Player of the match Tobias Finch Hatton who was magnificent in defence.
