West Midlands Childrens' Theatre Company visit The Park
16th November 2007This play, based on a Russian legend was performed by three actors, but in different scenes our pupils were invited to take on key roles in the plot. The audience were delighted to see their friends taking part. The plot centred around Prince Ivan searching for the Firebird to whom he wanted to return a lost feather that had magical powers. On his long journey Prince Ivan had to overcome the evil Kaschey and Witch Baba Yaga. The Prince prevailed and the feather was restored to its rightful owner and he was crowned Tzar for all his troubles! The actors are pictured below with a number of our Junior School pupils.
