There's Something Amazing Going On

The Key Stage 2 production of "There's something amazing going on" was played in front of a packed hall of parents and friends of the school. 

Performed in modern dress the story included all the traditional aspects of the Christmas Story, but went beyond the usual narrative to include Herod's attempts to kill the Infant Jesus and The Holy Family's flight to Egypt. 

The performance included ten songs that ranged from the worshipful 'This is the one' to a humorous rap, 'Haven't we nearly got there yet?' as well as Herod's murderous heavy metal rock song 'I've been outwitted'. 

Every child had a part to play and those not on stage were involved with the technical side or choreographing dances.  A most splendid evening was enjoyed by all.
