Race For Life

Amongst the 2,500 women who tackled the annual Race For Life event in Dorchester were Mrs Alex Briggs, our Head of Art, and two former students Lynn and Joanne Ennals.

Like all the runners, they were raising money for Cancer Research.  The race was started by actor Martin Clunes; for many, it was the chance to do their bit for loved ones affected by cancer.  The 5 km race was held in the grounds of Kingston Maurward in temperatures of around 30 degrees Celsius. 





Our three 'Park Ladies' completed the course in approximately 45 minutes, with the aid of a number of bottles of cool water!  Together they will have raised in the region of £300.  Congratulations ladies!
