James helps Area team to Silver medal
4th April 2008Following a fine list of runs in the Primary league James Bridge went into the County Inter Area Championships ranked as the number 5 runner in the South Somerset Team. His 4th place in last week's race indicated that he is in super form and this proved to be the case. James handled the very fast Stanchester course well with an excellent 8th place in the race and finishing 3rd in the Area team. His efforts helped the South Somerset squad to silver medal position, just missing the gold by 1 point. What a great way to round off James' cross-country season and a super reward for all his efforts - particularly as he is only in year 4.
