High Flying Sixth Formers win at Yeovilton
24th March 2009It was plane sailing for a group of Sixth Form students from The Park School as they won an aeroplane design competition held at the Fleet Air Museum, Yeovilton.

The proud team: left to right - Ben Sandy, Matthew Bayliss, Aaron Kwong, Harry Inch, Jack Webb and Chris Bunker.
Their task was to design control systems for an aeroplane, along with an electronic switching circuit relaying information on the position of the flaps. The competition was open to Sixth Form Schools/Colleges in the local area. The student teams were also judged on their plans, presentation and the costs of materials. The Park School students were delighted to be the high flyers on the day.
