Children in Need!

As part of Children in Need pupils and staff came into school in their own clothes for a small fee. One member of staff came in The Park School's uniform from the 1980's!

Mrs Briggs left The Park School as a pupil in 1987 – and it is lovely to have her here again as a member of staff. Mrs Briggs was a prefect, and in those days prefects wore a brown jumper and skirt to signify their status.
The picture also shows Mrs Briggs sporting the old fashioned woollen blazer with school-house coloured braiding, and a mint green shirt. Mrs Briggs gained a school award for service, and for this she given a striped tie!
We are pleased to say that staff and pupils raised £325 for Children in Need.
