Art Exhibition 2008
5th June 2008GCSE and A Level Art and Design students have produced a stunning display of work which was submitted for their recent public examinations. The work this year has been described by Mrs Briggs (Head of Art) as a very rich display where a broad range of ideas, media and techniques have been explored in a very creative way. Pupils have demonstrated their skills through photography, printmaking, drawing, painting, 3D and textiles.

Projects are chosen by the pupils at GCSE and this year include reflections, the human figure, transport, landscape and natural forms amongst others. A Level Fine Art projects have focused on developing personal responses and ideas, and their work shows a wide range of diverse strategies. There has been a private viewing for parents and friends in the reception area and in the school's Sixth Form Centre but the work will remain on display until the end of term.
