Christmas Play

Our hall was packed with parents waiting to see their excited children perform in our musical play Baboushka which is based on a traditional Russian tale. Baboushka is a bad tempered old woman,too grumpy to believe the Nativity story.

There are many different versions of the tale of Baboushka, most of which involve Baboushka seeking the baby Jesus, but never finding him. In our telling of the story however, her search is successful, giving hope to us all!  Our pictures (below) show all the main characters in the play together with the enthralled parents.
