Christmas card Competition

Younger pupils from Years 5, 6, 7 and 8 had the opportunity to enter their design for our Christmas card competition, and we were delighted with the number of entries.  Pupils could draw, paint or make a collage.  Mrs Huntington, our Head, was asked to be judge, and she found this to be a daunting task! 

After much deliberation she selected 6 designs which were then sent away for printing.

The winners were Rebecca Cartwright (Year 8) shown above, Grace Busby (Year 8) 'Celebrate Christ', Ellie Brooks (Year 8), Amy Shearlock (Year 6) Mary & Joseph in the stable, Daniel Blackburn (Year 6) Noel, Emma Francis (Year 5) Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus in the stable with animals.

The cards are sold in packs of six (one of each design) for £3, or 2 packs for £5, and may be purchased from Miss Mellor in the School Office.  The rest of the prize winners can be seen below.
