u11 Football 'v' Sunninghill away - Return approximately 4:30pm.

TEAM:

James Bridge, Jonathan Burrows(c), Callum Harvey, Jonathan Hayes, John Hodder, Declan Kinsella,      James Bayley, George Chapman, Alexander Hannam, Tom Lewis, Francesco Medici, Callum Nott.

The mini bus journey to Dorchester must have sent our boys to sleep for within the first two minutes we were 2-0 down and they were struggling to settle.  Out of the blue we won a corner and a quick thinking early short ball from Jonathan Burrows found Callum Harvey open and he placed it nicely in the corner.  Two minutes later and Francesco hit a lovely high long range ball that dipped straight between the keepers hands and suddenly it was 2-2 and so it remained at half time.  The second period found us with the advantage of the downward slope and a great corner form Callum Harvey found Jonathan Burrows on the far post and he tapped it in.  Then a goal from George Chapman and another from Jonathan, but the excitement was not over yet.  Declan Kinsella decided that in his last ever match for us he was going out in style and he hit no less than 4 goals including a great half volley from 25 yards out and we eventually ran away with this game 9-2.  Player of the match – Francesco Medici
