Thursday, 4th March 2010u14 Football 'v' Sexey's away - Return approximately 6.15pm.
TEAM:
Joseph Brown, Luke Corner, Alexander Gurd, Robert Sankey, Philip Bridge, Robert Howes(c), Elliot Mellish, Hugh Scannell, Kyle Wheaton, Murray Wheaton, Alexander Howes, James Rock.
With of the u14 squad deciding they did not want to play at the last minute, it was left to year 7&8 yo make up the team. Therefore, physically we were disadvantaged, however an extremely exciting game ensued with play racing from one end of the pitch to the other and both teams taking it in turns to score. With two minutes to go we were trailing 5-4; we scrambled the ball for 5-5 and a fitting draw looked to be the end result. Alas with barely 30 seconds left Sexey's smeaked another nad we lost this epic encounter. Player of the match - Philip Bridge.
