u14 Football 'v' Sherborne International away - Return approximateky 4:00pm.

TEAM:

Joseph Brown, Luck Corner, Marcus Fudge, Alexander Gurd, Robert Sankey, Harry Yeoman, Philip Bridge, Robert Howes, Luca Lepuri, Elliot Mellis, Joseph Mortimore, Edward Pratt, Sam Nash, William Hough. 

This was an extremely exciting match with play constantly going from end to end.  Actually we should have clinched it in the first half but the ball kept hitting the cross bar with Robert Sankey just missing on several occasions.  Eventually Elliot Mellish forced the ball over for a half time score of 1-1; the second half was equally as frantic with Sherborne push there star forward constantly, fortunately they had not known of the speed of Philip Bridge.  Roberts Howes kept the defence in tact although we did concede another goal.  Elliot struck again and in the final minutes both he and Harry just missed and so we finished 1-1.  Players of the match – Robert Sankey and Elliot Mellish
