Inter House Netball & Football
Monday, 22nd March 2010Inter House Netball & Football - Finish approximately 1:00pm.
FOOTBALL - Ashley clearly had the best team and they were impressive from the start. Joe Gomez scored within the first minute of the first game and then went off to allow the lesser known players in his house the chance to play. Ashley, duly won all there games, Livingstone came second, with Shaftesbury 3rd and Slessor 4th. Player of the tournament – Henry Roper.
NETBALL - Again the outcome was never in doubt for Shaftesbury had 6 of the year 11 netball team in their squad and gave an afternoon of scintillating displays
The most impressive being that of their captain Freyia Crawford; actively encouraging and coaching, players from other teams trying to break down the Shaftesbury dominance. In the end Shaftesbury were comfortable winners, Livingstone 2nd, Slessor 3rd, and Ashley 4th. Player of the tournament – Abigail Squires.
