u15 Cricket

u15 Cricket - First Round Area Cup 'v' Ansford - away - Return approximately 6.30pm.

TEAM:

James Eddey(c)-Stephen D'Albiac-Robert Meech-Isaac Woodward-Adam Coppard-Oliver Yeoman-Joe Gomez-Edward Butcher-Andrew Deighton-Rory Mangles-Jon Andreson.

We lost the toss and were sent in to bat and when Stephen edged the second ball for a 4 I thought we were in for a good game.  This proved to be the case with good batting from several of our other players.  When Ansford went in to bat Edward took their opener with the 3rd ball and things were still looking up, alas we were unaware of what was to come and their number 4 and 5 smashed us everywhere and they overcame our total. - Player of the match - Issac Woodward.
