In this their first game of the season lack of match experience showed in that our girls did not take all the run scoring oppotunities that they produced. However, there was some extremely good fielding play; in the first half tight bowling from Matilda, good retrieving of the ball from all fielders and super catching by Olive kept our opponents run rate down. In the second innings mistakes at bases let Sunninghill slip away and we lost by 9-13, but great team work from all the girls. Player of the match - Olive Holliday.
